8 healthy salad recipes for weight loss

Salad Recipes For Weight Loss: Including salad diet on your regular meals is one of the easiest ways to stay healthy! On the other hand, the salad dressing plays a significant role in adding taste and determining the number of calories in any salad. You will enjoy sipping on leafy greens dipped in mayonnaise and cream cheese, but the safest ones would be those.

 Salads for Weight Loss


1. Honey Mustard Vinaigrette Salad Dressing


Serves 4, from my Skinny Spinach Salad and Green and Green Salad.

Ingredients:

· 1 tbsp Honey

· 1/3 cup Balsamic Vinegar

· 2 tbsp Spicy Brown Mustard

· pepper and salt to taste

 Method:

Combine all ingredients in a jar or bowl. Whisk together, or when using a jar shake and close. Place in refrigerator to marinate for two hours minimum.

2. Strawberry Citrus Vinaigrette Salad Dressing

Serves 4, out of my wine and food newspaper column.

Ingredients:

· five berries quartered

· 1/4 cup orange juice

1/4 cup white wine   apple or vinegar cider vinegar

· 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

 Method:

Blend all ingredients in a jar or bowl. Whisk together, or when using a pot close and shake. Put in refrigerator to marinate for two hours minimum.

3.BASIC VINAIGRETTE


Fundamental dressing for green salads. It stays for weeks. Try this healthy boiled peanut salad.

Ingredients:

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

4 to 5 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

1/2 into 1 tsp salt

1 to 2 medium clove garlic, minced

Method:

Blend everything in a jar, cover tightly and shake well.

Sprinkle it on salad when demanded.

4. SPICY SALAD DRESSING


Ingredients:


1/4 cup fresh tomato puree (1 tomato at a mixer)

1/4 tsp red chili powder

1/2 tsp jaggery (dissolved in hot water)

Method:

Blend all ingredients in a jar. Shake well  in a tightly covered jar.
 It remains for 2-3 days. Try this hot watermelon and tomato chaat salad.

5. SALSA


The bright red salsa can be thrown into any vegetable combination.

Ingredients:

200g tomatoes

100g green capsicum

1 tsp red chili powder

1 tsp peppermint

1 tsp chili flakes

One teaspoon vinegar

Salt to taste

Method:

Boil the tomatoes, and peel the skin.

Place two boiled tomatoes in a blender. Add red chili powder, balsamic vinegar, and salt and combine.

Chop the rest of the tomatoes finely.

Roast the capsicum right on the flame until they're little blackened.

Scrape off skin and chop the capsicum finely.

Add the chopped tomatoes and capsicum into the tomato pulp.

Add the oregano, garlic, vinegar and the chili flakes to the salsa.

Chill it and function together with the quesadillas.

6. THAI SALAD DRESSING


Made entirely with ordinary and familiar supermarket products, this salad using its tart-sweet-spicy dressing is surprisingly exotic. Potatoes need to be cooked in advance. The dressing stays for months to make it almost any time. Here is another healthy Thai raw pineapple salad.

Ingredients:


Six tablespoons Excellent peanut butter

1 cup boiling water

4 tbsp apple cider vinegar

1 tbsp jaggery or honey

1 to 2 11/2 tsp salt

3 to 4 medium cloves garlic minced

Crushed red pepper to taste

Method:


Mix all these and toss on any vegetable.


7. Avocado Ranch Salad Dressing/Dip


Makes eight servings, try with my kid-friendly Chicken Strips.

Ingredients:

· 2 cups Non-Fat Greek Yogurt

· 2 Garlic Cloves garnished with a cheese grater

· 3 tablespoons chopped Chives

· 2 tbsp Dried Parsley

· 1/2 tsp Dried Dill

· 1 tsp Salt

· 1 tsp Black Pepper

· 1 tbsp White Vinegar

· 1 Avocado crushed with the back of a fork

Method:

Add all ingredients into a large Tupperware container or jar and mix well, place in refrigerator for an hour before serving.


8.Garlic-Ginger Salad Dressing

Serves 4, from the Strawberry Chicken Salad.

Ingredients:

· 1/3 cup raspberry vinegar

· 3/4 cup walnut oil

· 1 clove garlic

· 1/2 inch ginger root

· 1/2 teaspoon salt

· 1 tbsp sugar

Method:


Mince ginger and garlic. Add remaining ingredients and mix. Let stand at least 15 minutes prior use.
